The meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

Having expressed to the head of the state gratitude for the given possibilities, Hero-Arkadag wished all big successes in their work for further development of our country.

Further, the floor was given to Chairwoman of the Mejlis D.Gulmanova, who informed on activities carried out to further improve national legislation.

As was marked, now with a view of strengthening of the legal basis of large-scale transformations carried out in the country amendments and additions are made to a number of acts, in particular, to those regulating civil-law relations, the issues  connected with administrative offences, taxes, motor transport development.

In the context of development of interaction with parliaments of foreign states and international organisations, representatives of the Mejlis together with profile state structures took part in the conference organised by Population Fund of the United Nations, the education seminar devoted to agreements of the World Trade Organization. Besides it, deputies of the national parliament made a working visit the city of Geneva of the Swiss Confederation for participation in the 149th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

It was also informed that people's choices act in mass media for explanation to various strata of society a historical and political significance of the year «The Fount of wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi», strengthening of democratic basis of the state, adopted important decisions.

Summing up the sounded information, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that it is necessary for deputies of the Mejlis to develop laws defining present and future development of the country.

In this connection, it is necessary to continue work on perfection of national legal system according to requirements of the time, the head of the state underlined.
