The meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider a number of issues of state life.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet Kh.Geldimyradov, who reported on the work implanted to develop the state budget of Turkmenistan for 2027, was the first to take the floor at the meeting.

As he reported, with a view of development of drafts of the state budget, the basic areas of social and economic development of the country and the investment program for the next year, the draft of the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan «On development of the state budget of Turkmenistan for 2027» was prepared.

In the given draft, the procedure and concrete terms of preparation of corresponding estimations and data for development of the main financial plan of the country by ministries, sectoral departments and khyakimliks were defined. The state budget and financial and economic indicators for the forthcoming year will be prepared proceeding from the corresponding Program of the President of Turkmenistan, real possibilities and expected estimate indicators.

In the next year it is planned to take the measures aimed at maintenance of macroeconomic stability, rates of increase of GDP, stability of financial and monetary and credit systems, and dynamical development of branches of economy. In addition, further large-scale transformations will be also carried out, a considerable part of investments will be made in new manufactures, introduction of digital system and high technologies in branches will proceed. It is expected to give great attention to formation of favourable business environment, improvement of social standards of living of the population.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted the draft of the relevant document for consideration of the head of the state.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that productive work on social and economic development of the country is carried out. With a view of its continuation in the forthcoming year, the head of the state signed the Resolution «On development of the state budget of Turkmenistan for 2027» and gave the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet corresponding instructions.
