On October 30, 2023, the Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Dunyagozel Gulmanova, held a meeting with the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Central Asia, Head of the UN Regional Center for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia Kaha Imnadze.

The parties noted that Turkmenistan actively cooperates with this regional UN center in order to protect regional security and strengthen peace. At the same time, they exchanged views on the development of parliamentary relations, which serve as an important tool for promoting effective cooperation, as well as on the organization of meetings and conferences to improve the work of the network of young parliamentarians and women's dialogue for the future.
