On October 30, 2023, the Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to Turkmenistan Beata Peksa.

During the meeting, it was noted that cooperation between the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the parliaments of the European Union member states and prestigious international organizations is expanding every year.

The parties emphasized the importance of negotiations in the form of the «Turkmenistan-European Union» parliamentary dialogue, which serves as an important tool for promoting effective cooperation, and expressed mutual interest in further enhancing cooperation with the network of young EU parliamentarians in the future.
