On December 7, 2023, the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan  Dunyagozel Gulmanova accepted credential from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zimbabwe Bright Kupemba.

On behalf of the Head of the turkmen state, the Chairperson of the national parliament congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to a responsible position and wished him success in further strengthening relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The sides noted their readiness to support intergovernmental cooperation through parliamentary diplomacy, to strengthen the legal basis of these relations, and to exchange experience in parliamentary and legislative activities.
