The report included information that industrial and practical seminars were organized for students of the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan to improve their qualifications.

Along with this, Mejlis deputies took participation in seminars on gender equality and drawing up a national report on the implementation of the provisions contained in the Convention on the Women’s Rights, organized by the relevant institutions of the country jointly with the US Agency for International Development and the UN Population Fund.

As was reported, the people’s representatives appear in the media to carry out explanatory work about the goals of the adopted legislative regulations and actively participate in events to promote the key directions of the state policy of the independent Homeland, and to publicize the progressive transformations ongoing in the country.

In accordance with the Decree “On celebrating the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, the great thinker and classical poet of the East”, comprehensive work is carried out in the country and abroad to study and popularize in the world the rich and invaluable literary heritage of the great artist in words, which became part of a spiritual cultural treasury of humanity and has turned into a national school of education for the cultivation of high morality, humanistic and patriotic feelings in people.

In view of the above, guided by the desire to associate the motto of 2024 with the name of Magtymguly Pyragy and the poem “Pähim-paýhas ummany Magtymguly Pyragy”, created by the brilliant talent and wisdom of our Hero Arkadag, as well as taking into account the proposals from members of the Halk Maslakhaty, representatives of public organizations, labor collectives and citizens, the Mejlis prepared a Resolution declaring 2024 the year “Ocean of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy”, which was then read out.

In addition, the next year’s emblem was presented to the head of state for consideration.

Addressing the meeting participants, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov specified that the country declares a motto and approves an emblem of each year in order to name it contemporarily.

Having agreed with the proposals of the deputies and the people on the motto and emblem of next year presented by the head of Mejlis and members of the Halk Maslakhaty, the head of state approved the motto of 2024 as the “Ocean of Wisdom Magtymguly Pyragy”.

People’s representatives carry out active work in their constituencies to explain the goals and objectives of the development strategy of our independent Homeland, the laws being adopted, the historical significance of the successes achieved and the progressive reforms ongoing in the country.

Summing up the information, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the new draft laws being developed must be perfect and meet the realities of the time. The adopted legal instruments, the head of state continued, must reflect the effective state policy being pursued, and be aimed at improving the Turkmen people’s wellbeing.

Сегодня Президент Сердар Бердымухамедов по цифровой системе провёл очередное заседание Кабинета Министров, на котором были обсуждены приоритетные вопросы государственной жизни.

Первой выступила Председатель Меджлиса Д.Гулманова, которая проинформировала о деятельности национального парламента по дальнейшему совершенствованию законодательства страны.

Как сообщалось, на основе принятых государственных программ и передового международного опыта в данном направлении последовательно осуществляется разработка законопроектов, связанных с защитой прав и интересов граждан, укреплением правопорядка, повышением уровня жизни населения.

В рамках расширения межпарламентского взаимодействия были приняты верительные грамоты у Чрезвычайных и Полномочных Послов Республики Бенин, Республики Зимбабве и Государства Кувейт в Туркменистане. В ходе встречи с полпредом Французской Республики обсуждены вопросы укрепления двустороннего партнёрства.

Депутаты Меджлиса приняли участие в X встрече парламентариев и внешнеполитических ведомств стран Центральной Азии, состоявшейся в Дубае (ОАЭ). Кроме того, представители парламента проводят переговоры по сотрудничеству с зарубежными коллегами и международными организациями, а также стали участниками конференции, организованной по цифровой системе в рамках Программы ООН в области народонаселения, и форума, состоявшегося в Представительстве Детского фонда в Туркменистане.

Наряду с этим народные избранники выступают в средствах массовой информации с целью разъяснения ключевых аспектов государственной политики, принятых законодательных актов, важности доктрины постоянного нейтралитета страны и её международных инициатив, популяризации успехов, достигаемых в Отчизне в различных сферах.

Резюмируя прозвучавшую информацию, Президент Сердар Бердымухамедов отметил значение эффективного продолжения деятельности Меджлиса по совершенствованию национального законодательства в соответствии с современными требованиями, подчеркнув, что принимаемые законы должны отражать задачи внутренней и внешней политики нашего государства.

Сегодня Президент Сердар Бердымухамедов по цифровой сис­теме провёл очередное заседание Кабинета Министров, на котором были подведены итоги работы отраслей экономики за одиннадцать месяцев текущего года, заслушаны соответствующие отчёты, обсуждены первоочередные задачи социально-экономического развития страны.

Первой слово было предоставлено Председателю Меджлиса Д.Гулмановой, которая проинформировала о результатах осуществлённой национальным парламентом за одиннадцать месяцев деятельности по укреплению отечественной правовой базы.

За рассматриваемый период проведено 5 заседаний, в ходе которых принято 49 Законов Туркменистана и 51 Постановление Меджлиса. В их числе – 3 Конституционных закона, а также Законы Туркменистана «О Меджлисе Туркменистана», «О городе Аркадаг», «О Государственном бюджете Туркменистана на 2024 год», «О правовой охране топологий интегральных микросхем», а также ряд правовых актов о присоединении к международным конвенциям и внесении изменений и дополнений в некоторые законы Туркменистана.

Созданными в национальном парламенте рабочими группами продолжается подготовка законопроектов, в частности, новой редакции Гражданского кодекса, правовых документов об энергосбережении и эффективном использовании энергии, о гидрометеорологической деятельности и др.

Сообщалось также, что последовательно развиваются отношения с международными организациями, прежде всего, с ООН и её структурными подразделениями. За обозначенный период в Меджлисе проведены 83 встречи по вопросам укрепления двусторонних связей, в том числе принято 27 верительных грамот у Чрезвычайных и Полномочных Пос­лов зарубежных государств. В целях изучения передового мирового опыта представители национального парламента осуществили 36 рабочих поездок, а также приняли участие в проведённых министерствами, отраслевыми ведомствами страны совместно с международными организациями 110 семинарах по вопросам совершенствования законотворческой деятельности и обеспечения выполнения государственных программ.

Депутаты Меджлиса проводят соответствующую просветительско-разъяснительную работу о политике страны, об осуществляемых прогрессивных преобразованиях, историческом значении правового статуса постоянного нейтралитета Отчизны, о целях принимаемых законов.

Резюмируя прозвучавшую информацию, Президент Сердар Бердымухамедов отметил важность дальнейшего совершенствования законодательства. При этом был сделан акцент на необходимости при проведении данной работы руководствоваться передовой международной практикой.
