Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the capital, getting acquainted with the progress of construction of the International Pediatric Centre, which will replenish the infrastructure of the country's healthcare system.

Currently, at the state level, special importance is attached to the construction of modern medical institutions and the reconstruction of existing ones. This is clear evidence of the successful implementation of large-scale reforms in the specialised sphere, initiated by doctor Arkadag, under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, as well as the fact that strengthening the health of every citizen of the country is one of the priority areas of state policy.

In the southern corner of the capital, in accordance with international standards and modern requirements, a complex of medical institutions equipped with advanced world technologies and equipment has been built. An important place in this series will be occupied by the International Pediatric Centre, in the groundbreaking ceremony of which in March 2023 doctor Arkadag took part.

In the morning, Hero-Arkadag arrived at the construction site of the International Pediatric Center, located in the capital and designed for 160 beds, where construction is in full swing.

Here, Hero-Arkadag, noting the importance of the work being carried out to ensure the smooth movement of vehicles on the roads of the capital, instructed the hakim of Ashgabat to take appropriate measures for the unimpeded movement of specialised ambulances.

The adoption of a new version of the State Program «Saglyk», developed thanks to the efforts of Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, Doctor of Medical and Economic Sciences, Professor, author of fundamental scientific works, physician Arkadag and now consistently implemented under the leadership of the President of the country, allows us to raise the national healthcare system to the level of world standards, improve the quality and expand the range of medical services provided to the population.

Here, doctor Arkadag got acquainted with the architectural features of the buildings of the modern medical institution, the equipment of its departments, the interior and exterior decor of the Centre, as well as the types of building materials used. The projects reflect the improvement of the territories adjacent to the facility, types of fencing. All this should be in harmony with the architectural appearance of the capital.

The General Director of the Directorate of International Medical Centres of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of the country S. Annanyyazova reported on the progress of construction of the buildings of the International Pediatric Centre, the departments that will be located in them, their apparatus with various equipment and the finishing materials used.

As noted, the best traditions of national architecture and advanced world practice are organically combined during the construction of the Medical Centre. The Centre's departments will be equipped with the most modern medical equipment from leading global manufacturers. It should be noted that a number of medical devices will be installed here for the first time not only in the country, but also in the region. At the same time, the use of artificial intelligence capabilities in the new Centre will ensure a high level of medical services. At the same time, due attention is paid to the development of the professionalism of doctors.

Doctor Arkadag, having familiarised himself with the projects, types and unique characteristics of the equipment that is planned to be installed in the International Pediatric Centre, as well as with samples of the interior and exterior decoration of the buildings, gave valuable recommendations on the features of the equipment. In continuation, Doctor Arkadag said that the new Centre is an advanced medical institution with a long-term perspective, and emphasised the importance of proper qualification of doctors who will work with the equipment installed for the first time in the region.

In recent years, the state has attached great importance to strengthening the material and technical base of the healthcare system, including medical institutions, training high-level specialists and strengthening preventive measures aimed at maintaining human health. For these purposes, an integrated approach is being taken to the strength of building materials and their compliance with modern requirements, to the features of the decor of buildings.

The main tasks at present are to strengthen the principles of a healthy lifestyle in society, develop mass physical culture and sports, and widely involve the population, especially young people, in this movement. This is important for strengthening human health and ensuring the harmonious development of the younger generation. Speaking about this, doctor Arkadag emphasised the consistent continuation of the work being carried out.

As noted, the International Pediatric Centre will pay special attention to the level of training of doctors who will work in such areas as neurology, endocrinology, orthopedics, allergology, and childhood diseases. Endoscopy, functional and radiation diagnostics, microbiology and bacteriology, psychiatry, audiology, endocrinology, hematology, pathohistology laboratories, and operating rooms will be equipped with the latest technology.

The equipment for the laboratory departments of the new Centre is characterised by rapid diagnostics - within an hour - of any diseases in children and the issuance of the necessary results.

Doctor Arkadag noted that great importance should be attached to color harmony in the Centre's premises. Considering that this medical institution is intended for children, Hero-Arkadag emphasised the colour scheme, which, along with the decorative features of the building, should attract the attention of children and make a pleasant impression on them. Arkadag emphasised the need for active use of modern practices in this area and gave valuable recommendations and instructions based on his many years of experience.

Then Hero-Arkadag held a working meeting here with the participation of the General Director of the Directorate of International Medical Centres of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, the Director of the Intensive Care Department of the International Cardiology Centre, the Deputy Regional Director of the company «Gap inşaat Yatirim ve Diş Ticaret Anonim Şirketi», which has been operating in the country for several years, and the hakim of Ashgabat. Issues related to the completion of the construction of the Centre at the proper level and its equipment in accordance with modern requirements, as well as the improvement of the adjacent territory were discussed.

During the working meeting, detailed reports were made on the pace of construction of the International Pediatric Centre, the types of building materials used, as well as the supply of specialised facilities. It was also reported that the doctors who will work in the new Centre have gained experience in the world's leading clinics, and their professional level in their fields has increased.

Hero-Arkadag focused on the issues of training specialists capable of working on the latest equipment and managing it. As Hero-Arkadag noted, comprehensive measures are being implemented on the basis of the State Program «Saglyk» to strengthen children's health and develop a healthy lifestyle.

It was also reported on the materials used in construction, the features of the interior and exterior decoration of the building, the location of the Centre's parking lots, and the types of modern medical equipment installed in the departments. As noted, digital technologies and artificial intelligence capabilities will be effectively used here, which will ensure a high level of medical services and reduce the time for diagnosis and treatment. 

Doctor Arkadag noted that great importance is attached to the construction of healthcare facilities in the country, including in the capital. This is clear evidence of the successful implementation of the new edition of the State Program «Saglyk» through the efforts of the President of Turkmenistan and its positive results in protecting the health of people, including the younger generation, and preventing diseases. 

The active introduction of innovative technologies and advanced equipment from world-famous companies, a wide network of modern healthcare institutions and the training of specialists in the largest centres of the world make it possible to provide a high level of medical services in a short time, increase the average life expectancy of the population and at the same time contribute to the harmonious development of children.

Noting that the health of the people is not only the main wealth of the country, but also a solid foundation for a bright future for the current and future generations, Hero-Arkadag expressed confidence that the modern Centre will serve our people for many years to come. In continuation, doctor Arkadag emphasised the need to establish economic activities of medical centres being built in a picturesque corner of the capital, with the city administration. At the same time, the construction of the new Centre and its economic structure should be under constant control. 

Then, the hakim of Ashgabat R. Gandymov reported on the progress of work at the site where a complex of modern healthcare institutions was formed, on measures to improve the territories and large-scale activities to maintain environmental well-being in the capital.

After hearing the report, Hero-Arkadag said that this beautiful corner of Ashgabat has become an independent town. The roads and gardens of this health town create a special atmosphere. It was emphasised that unimpeded access to the medical centre should be provided on the roads.

Timely and high-quality implementation of the project for the construction of the International Pediatric Centre will improve the level and quality of treatment for children. This indicates that caring for the younger generation is one of the important areas of state policy.

As Hero-Arkadag noted, the activities carried out in this area are based on caring for the harmonious development, education of a devoted and hardworking younger generation - our future, and he drew attention to the need to make every effort to work effectively in this direction.

On March 4, 2025, the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D.Gulmanova accepted credentials from the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Spain to Turkmenistan Ricardo Martinez Vazquez.

The Head of the national Parliament, on behalf of the Head of state, congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to the responsible position and wished him success in strengthening the traditional friendly relations and cooperation between our countries.

During the meeting, the Chairperson of the Mejlis informed the esteemed Ambassador with the main directions of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, based on the principles of positive neutrality, peacefulness, trust, equality and mutual benefit, as well as with the successfully implemented large-scale national programs and comprehensive reforms aimed at the rapid socio-economic development of Turkmenistan, ensuring a prosperous and happy life for our people.

The diplomat was introduced to the structure of the Mejlis and its multifaceted activities carried out to ensure the legislative and legal framework for the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country. In this regard, it was emphasized that inter-parliamentary relations are an important tool for strengthening interstate cooperation.

The diplomat expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and noted that it was a great honor for him to represent his country in Turkmenistan, which is widely known in the world for its peace-loving policy. At the end of the meeting, confidence was expressed that the friendly, fruitful relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Spain will further develop and be filled with new, constructive content.

On March 4, 2025, the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D.Gulmanova held a meeting with European Union Special Representative for Central Asia Eduards Stiprais.

At the meeting, the guests were introduced to the priority areas of internal and peace-loving external policy of Turkmenistan and also with structure and activities of the national parliament. It was noted that development of long-term mutually beneficial cooperation with international organizations and the European Union is one of the important areas of Turkmenistan’s external policy, while interaction with the European Union is consistently expanding in new directions.

The sides noted the importance of agreements reached in recent years between Turkmenistan and the European Union, the exchange of experience in legislative and parliamentary activities, as well as meetings of parliamentary representatives and jointly held training seminars that contribute to the formation of a modern basis for multifaceted relations between our country and the EU countries.

In particular, was said about the effectiveness of inter-parliamentary dialogue «European Union – Turkmenistan», the Dialogue on Human Rights, Consultative meetings between foreign policy departments and on individual issues of cooperation, including interaction in the «European Union –Central Asia» format.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their readiness to support further cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union based on the principles of mutual respect, equality and trust through parliamentary diplomacy.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev and khyakims of the velayats to consider issues related to the progress of work in the agricultural complex and regions of the country.

The first floor was given to the khyakim of the Ahal velayat T.Nurmyradov, who reported on the pace of agricultural campaigns in the region.

As noted, seasonal activities, guided by the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan to increase agricultural production, are continuing in the velayat.

In accordance with agro-technical standards, mineral fertilizers are applied and watered in the wheat fields of the velayat.

In order to organize the start and proper conduct of cotton sowing, the necessary steps are being taken to prepare areas and high-quality cotton seeds.

Along with this, appropriate measures are being implemented to sow potatoes and vegetable and melon crops within agro-technical deadlines.

It was also reported on the preparations for the upcoming cultural and mass events on the occasion of International Women’s Day – March 8 and the pace of construction of social, cultural and industrial facilities planned for opening this year within the framework of the National Rural Program.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that the organized implementation of current agricultural work within agro-technical deadlines is an important condition for obtaining high yields of agricultural crops, addressing specific instructions to the khyakim in this regard.

The head of state also ordered to keep under control the quality and timing of the implementation of the tasks planned for the current year within the framework of the country’s socio-economic development programs.

Then, the khyakim of the Balkan velayat H. Ashyrmyradov reported on the agricultural campaigns carried out in the region.

As noted, care and watering continue in the wheat fields of the velayat. Measures are being taken to prepare high-quality seeds for cotton producers for the upcoming sowing.

Along with this, efforts are being made to prepare fields and seeds of vegetable and melon crops for the season, as well as to complete the planting of potatoes and onions within the established timeframes.

It was informed on preparations for the celebration of International Women’s Day in the velayat, as well as on the progress of construction of social and industrial facilities scheduled for commissioning this year.

After hearing the report, the head of state emphasized the importance of complying with agro-technical standards as a guarantee of obtaining high-quality products, and in this regard, ordered to ensure the proper implementation of current seasonal agricultural work in the fields of the region.

The head of state also assigned the khyakim to monitor the quality and timely completion of tasks planned for the current year within the framework of the National Rural Program.

Then the khyakim of the Dashoguz velayat D. Babayev reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

As noted, in accordance with the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan for the comprehensive development of the agricultural sector and strengthening food abundance in the country, seasonal work continues on the agricultural lands of the region.

In accordance with agro-technical standards, wheat is cared for, in particular, fertilizing with minerals and watering.

Currently, as part of the preparation for sowing cotton, land leveling, planning and flushing irrigation are being carried out. A sufficient number of high-quality seeds adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the region have been prepared for agricultural producers. Along with this, onion planting has begun in the velayat.

It was also reported on preparations for the celebrations on the occasion of International Women’s Day and the progress of construction work at social, cultural and industrial facilities that are planned to be commissioned this year as part of the country’s socio-economic development programs.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted the importance of high-quality and organized agro-technical measures at present, giving specific instructions to the khyakim in this regard.

The head of state also instructed to monitor the proper and timely implementation of the work planned for this year in the velayat in accordance with the Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

Then, the khyakim of the Lebap velayat M. Annanepesov reported on the progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As noted, in order to obtain rich wheat harvest this year, additional mineral fertilizers and irrigation are being carried out in the fields of the velayat.

Leveling and planning are underway in the cotton fields, and flushing irrigation is in the final stage, as well as the preparation of high-quality seeds for agricultural producers.

At the same time, the sowing of potatoes and onions is being completed in the region. Information was provided on preparations for the celebrations in the velayat on the occasion of International Women’s Day and the progress of construction of cultural, social and industrial facilities planned for commissioning in the region this year within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

Summarizing the report, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need for strict adherence to agricultural technology standards during seasonal agricultural activities, giving the khyakim specific instructions in this regard.

The head of state also ordered to monitor the quality and timely execution of work at the facilities planned for commissioning in the velayat this year in accordance with the country’s socio-economic development programs.

Then, the khyakim of the Mary velayat B. Orazov reported on the progress of current seasonal agricultural campaigns in the region.

As reported, in order to obtain a rich harvest this year, wheat is being cared for in the fields in accordance with agricultural technology standards. 

In preparation for cotton sowing, leveling, planning, flushing irrigation of agricultural lands and preparation of high-quality seeds for producers are carried out. 

At the same time, appropriate measures are being taken to ensure timely sowing of potatoes and other vegetable and melon crops in the velayat, as well as proper preparation of areas and seeds for sowing.

In addition, it was informed on the preparation of festive events on the occasion of International Women’s Day, as well as on the progress of construction of social, cultural and industrial facilities scheduled for commissioning this year in accordance with the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028 and the National Rural Program.

Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of conducting current agricultural work at a high organizational level and in this regard gave the khyakim a number of specific instructions.

The head of state also noted the need for timely and high-quality implementation of the tasks outlined in the programs for the socio-economic development of the country, ordering to monitor their implementation.

Then Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahalliyev reported on the state of affairs in agriculture. As reported, in order to successfully implement the tasks set by the President of the country to obtain a rich harvest this year in accordance with agro-technical standards, mineral fertilizers are applied and wheat is watered in the fields of the velayats.

Along with this, measures are being taken to prepare land and high-quality seeds for sowing cotton.

In order to provide the population with domestically produced vegetable and melon crops, preparation of fields and seeds for sowing vegetable and melon crops, as well as planting potatoes and vegetables, continues.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the need to take comprehensive measures to successfully fulfill the tasks set for the development of the agricultural sector, taking into account the requirements of the time, further strengthening food abundance in the country due to high yields, and gave the Deputy Prime Minister relevant instructions in this regard.

Then, addressing the participants of the working meeting, the head of state emphasized the importance of seasonal agricultural campaigns and ordered strict control over the work on preparing and washing the soil in order to sow cotton in the regions within the established time frame, taking appropriate measures to provide producers with high-quality seeds before the campaign, and ensuring wheat care and irrigation in accordance with agricultural standards.

In addition, the President of Turkmenistan gave relevant instructions to accelerate the pace of sowing potatoes and vegetable and melon crops, to conduct timely payments for the work performed between agricultural producers and service enterprises in the regions, as well as to organize preparations for the planned events on the occasion of International Women’s Day – March 8.

Focusing on the need to successfully solve the problems outlined in the country’s socio-economic development programs, the head of state instructed to keep under strict control the construction of socio-cultural and industrial facilities planned for commissioning in the velayats this year. 

At the end of the working meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants good health, family well-being and great success in their work.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the agenda of which included a number of issues of state life.

Chairwoman of the Mejlis D.Gulmanova, who informed on the course of further improvement of the national legislation according to modern realities, was the first to take the floor.

So, at present, working groups with participation of representatives of ministries and sectoral departments prepare the bills concerning various spheres of political, economic and cultural life of the country and connected with increase of well-being of people. At the same time, amendments and additions are made to legal acts in force.

The head of the national parliament informed on results of the recent working visit to the Republic of Türkiye in which the meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan took place.

On behalf of Hero-Arkadag the invitation to the International forum on the occasion of the glorious 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of our fatherland, which will take place in Ashgabat in December of the current year was given to the Turkish leader. The head of the friendly country, with gratitude having received the invitation, noted similarity of positions of two states in maintenance of global and regional security and sustainable development. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also underlined that Turkiye supported the Resolution of General Assembly of the United Nations on announcement of 2025 as «International year of peace and trust». The Turkish leader emphasised a historical significance of the speech of Hero-Arkadag at the Antalya diplomatic forum in March 2024.

Besides it, within the visit negotiations with Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of the Republic of Türkiye in which importance of joint efforts in intensification of relations between Inter-parliamentary groups of friendship was pointed out, profile committees, young and women-members of the parliament that urged to render a big assistance to cooperation development between two brotherly countries in the area of legislature took place.

Taking an opportunity, the Chairwoman of the Mejlis expressed warm gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Hero-Arkadag for created possibilities for wide propaganda at international level the internal and foreign policy of our country as well as for the working visit of the Turkmen delegation to the Republic of Türkiye.

In addition to it, she informed on preparation for ceremonies for mothers with many children, who were awarded the honorary title of «Ene mähri», and keys to apartments.

Summing up the information, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted importance of appropriate preparation for actions in honour of International Women's Day and their organisation at high level.

Further, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet Kh.Geldimyradov reported on the work carried out in the sphere of subordinate sphere.

As he reported, according to Laws of Turkmenistan «On credit institutions and bank activity» and «On auditor activity» as well as according to the Resolution of the President of the country «On the program of reforming of accounting and audit in Turkmenistan», annual conduction of corresponding inspections of banking establishments on the basis of international standards in this area was envisaged.

In this connection, for consideration of the head of the state the corresponding proposal was submitted.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised importance of improvement of annual audit of the financial reporting of banks of the country and realisation of this activity according to established international standards. Having approved the submitted proposal in the given sphere, the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to carry out necessary work to that end.

Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Amanov reported on the course of rise of capacities of oil refining factories subordinated to "Türkmennebit" State Concern. 

As he informed, with a view of extraction of hydrocarbon resources from oil wells and expansion of international interaction in development of petrochemical industry consecutive steps are undertaken. The work carried out at present within this cooperation in maintenance of Turkmenbashi oil refineries complex with additional volume of raw materials, effective involvement of its potential can serve a clear example for it.

In this regard, for consideration of the head of Turkmenistan the corresponding proposal was presented.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposal on rational use of capacities of oil refining factories subordinated to "Türkmennebit" State Concern and instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to take appropriate measures.

Further, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet T.Atahallyev reported on the work carried out in the agricultural sector and velayats of the country.

As he reported, at present, wheat fields are provided with due care according to agro-technical standards, in particular, top dressing by mineral fertilizers and watering.

According to the Resolution of the President of the country «On high yield of cotton in Turkmenistan in 2025» the fields to be sown this crop, are levelled and ridged and pre-sowing irrigation is carried out and preparation of seeds of cotton also proceeds.

With a view of supply of the population with the necessary volume of potato and vegetables and gourds in velayats, preparation of fields and seeds for the forthcoming sowing campaign is carried out.

The Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet also reported on realised practical steps according to the National Forest Program of Turkmenistan for wildlife management, maintenance of ecological well-being, transformation of our fatherland into a blossoming land. So, today on forestry farms of the Ministry of Environmental Protection preparation of saplings of various kinds of trees for the spring planting is carried out.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused attention on importance of conduction of work on complex development and strengthening of the material and technical basis of the agricultural branch of the country.

It is necessary to provide due care of wheat crops according to agro-technical standards, to carry out agricultural activities in the fields to be sown with cotton at due time and to attach a special significance to preparation of high-quality seeds of cotton and vegetables and gourds for the forthcoming sowing campaign and spring planting of saplings of trees, the head of the state underlined, having given the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet a number of concrete instructions.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Annamammedov reported on the activity of the construction-industrial complex.

As he marked, in the country new industrial enterprises equipped with advanced high-efficiency technologies from leading world companies, and focused on manufacture of various kinds of production are under construction.

Successful completion of civil and erection works at the factory with an annual capacity of 3 million 300 thousand square metres of ceramic decorative plates and 120 thousand products of sanitary ware in Baherden etrap of Akhal velayat can clearly testify to it. The commissioning of the given enterprise will promote satisfaction of demand for local building materials, increase of export potential of branch and creation of new workplaces.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted for consideration of the President of Turkmenistan the corresponding proposal.

Having heard the report, the head of the state marked that in the country manufacture of various kinds of industrial output was adjusted, at enterprises, technologies of leading world companies are widely introduced.

In the given context, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to prepare properly for the commissioning of the new enterprise of ceramic products «Bäherden».

Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet N.Atagulyev reported on the activity carried out in the complex under his supervision.

As he marked, in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state at the initiative of National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Hero-Arkadag and under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan a large scale work is carried out to develop the private sector, along with other branches of national economy, in particular, to create manufactures of import replacing goods.

In this regard, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, having reported on preparation of the exhibition devoted to the 17th anniversary of establishment of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs on March 17-19 of the current year and the International forum «Investments into the future of Turkmenistan» submitted for consideration of the head of the state the corresponding proposal.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that as a result of development of local private businesses the private sector’s share in the national economy increases. In the given context, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet was instructed to provide a high organizational level of the exhibition in honour of the 17th anniversary of establishment of UIET and the international forum «Investments into the future of Turkmenistan».

Throughout the meeting, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet reported on adopted measures on the further strengthening of the material and technical basis and maintenance of uninterrupted functioning of enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry.

As he marked, textile products are in great demand on internal and foreign markets. He reported on realised purposeful steps for diversification of export of this production, adjustment of cooperation with large foreign companies.

In this connection, for consideration of the head of the state the corresponding proposal was submitted.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the local textile enterprises produce high quality, non-polluting production, which today enjoy a wide popularity both in the country and abroad.

Having approved the proposal on effective involvement of industrial equipment of textile enterprises, the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to carry out corresponding work to that end.

Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet B.Seyidova reported on preparation for celebration of International Women's Day.

As she marked, on the occasion of the holiday in velayats and Ashgabat and Arkadag cities in the beginning of March it is planned to organise concerts, various conferences, exhibitions, creative meetings, music-song performances, sports competitions, information-educational actions as well as to sum up the results of earlier announced competitions.

On March 7 of the current year ceremonies in honour of mothers, awarded the honorary title of «Ene mähri» and presentation of women who given birth and have brought up eight and more children and large families with keys to apartments. This very day the festive concert will be held in the Mukam Palace. On March 8 in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the song-musical event will take place.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused attention on importance of celebratory actions in honour of International Women's Day in the International year of peace and trust in velayats and Ashgabat and Arkadag cities. Workers of art and culture of the country should prepare properly for forthcoming celebrations, the head of the state noted, having given the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet a number of concrete instructions.

Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet B.Orazdurdyeva reported on preparation for the XII Turkmen-German forum on public health services, which will take place on April 7-8 of this year.

As she informed, the event is planned to be held online in the International education centre and scientific centre of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry and to discuss issues of paediatrics, oncology and importance of introduction of digital technologies and intellectual-analytical systems in applied medicine.

In the forum participation of professors of the Federal Ministry of Health and leading clinics of the Federal Republic of Germany, doctors of hospitals of Turkmenistan, professors-teachers and students of the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryev is expected.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet submitted for consideration of the head of the state the corresponding proposal.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that in our country for development f the public health services a huge significance is given to cooperation with leading medical centres of the world. Having approved the proposal on the next Turkmen-German forum on public health services with a view of expansion of interaction with medical centres of the Federal Republic of Germany, the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet to take appropriate measures.

Further, the floor was given to Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs R.Meredov who reported on development of international cooperation in the field of cybersecurity.

As he marked, maintenance of information and cybersecurity of digital system of the country is defined among priorities of the state policy realised by the President of Turkmenistan. Thus, an important role is given to promotion of constructive interaction with foreign states and international organisations. Partnership activization in maintenance of security of digital system in the cyberspace is one of the key issues.

Proceeding from it, with a view of realisation of initiatives of the head of the state measures on adjustment and strengthening of relations of our fatherland with technologically developed countries of the world are taken. In particular, joining of Turkmenistan the adopted conventions in the sphere of digitization, perfection of the national legislation according to the international documents is provided. The organisation on a regular basis of profile courses and seminars with authoritative profile structures is also planned.

In this regard, preparation of drafts of «Programs of cooperation with foreign states and international organisations on maintenance of cybersecurity of digital system for 2025-2027» and the Plan of measures on its realisation is carried out. The given documents urged to promote joint co-ordinated work in this area and mutually beneficial exchange of experience, improvement of professional skill of experts, timely solution of tasks in view.

The above-named Program and the Plan envisage conclusion of corresponding contracts with foreign partners, protection of national interests in interstate relations, definition of ways of information interchange about cyber-attacks, realisation of decisions accepted in our country at the international level on cybersecurity and cyber diplomacy.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked that today as a key issue the strengthening of cybersecurity of the country and development of international cooperation in this sphere acts. Having approved the proposal on promotion of interaction with foreign states and international organisations in the field of maintenance of cybersecurity, the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs to carry out corresponding work to that end.

Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers M.Chakyev reported on the activity carried out to develop and modernise the communication system.

As he informed, considering presence of favourable conditions for transfer of high-quality and high-speed streams of information by transit through Turkmenistan, possibilities of increase in number of connections and speed of data transmission between our country and neighbouring countries and maintenance of additional throughput of communication system are studied. Conduction of corresponding actions in this area will promote further strengthening of positions of our fatherland as important transit country between Asia and Europe.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that work on increase of throughput of optic-fibre communication is consistently realised. Having approved proposals on modernisation of systems of data transmission located in various corners of the country and creation of additional stations of data transmission, the head of the state instructed the head of Agency to carry out necessary work to that end.

Then, addressing members of the Cabinet, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that our mothers paly a huge role in preservation of the sacred family hearth, worthy education of sons and daughters, the further strengthening of unity of our society. Our dear mothers, who with their self-denying work bring a contribution to increase of authority of our sovereign native land, are highly esteemed in our independent state.

Further, the head of the state signed the Decree on assignment of the honorary title «Ene mähri» to mothers of many children. 

In the country International Women's Day will be widely noted, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said, having underlined importance of the well organisation of actions for celebration of the women, awarded the honorary title «Ene mähri», and their presentation with keys to apartments.

At the meeting a number of other issues of state life, on which corresponding decisions were made, were also considered.

Concluding the online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants sound health, family well-being and big successes in their work for further prosperity of our sovereign fatherland.

On February 28, 2025, National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with World Bank Vice President for the Europe and Central Asia Antonella Bassani, World Bank’s Regional Director for the Central Asia region Ms. Tatiana Proskuryakova and the International Finance Corporation Regional Director for Central Asia and Türkiye Ms. Wiebke Schloemer.

Expressing gratitude for the meeting, the guests noted the high achievements and economic reforms of Turkmenistan. Ms. Antonella Bassani conveyed warm greetings to Hero-Arkadag from the head of the World Bank.

The guests also highly appraised the domestic and foreign policy of Turkmenistan and emphasized the important role of neutrality and international initiatives of the country in strengthening peace and stability on Earth. Sincere congratulations were expressed to Hero-Arkadag and all Turkmen people on the 30th anniversary of neutrality of Turkmenistan.

Having greeted the representatives of the World Bank system, Hero-Arkadag thanked for the warm words and expressed his best wishes to the World Bank leadership. The National Leader of Turkmen people expressed confidence that the upcoming meetings during the visit will contribute to a productive exchange of views on the current state and prospective fields of economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the World Bank, and wished them success.

It was noted that the expansion of international cooperation, in particular, the intensification of relations with reputable financial organizations and banking-credit structures, plays an important role in the implementation of the economic development strategy of Turkmenistan.

Hero-Arkadag emphasized the effectiveness of the partnership between Turkmenistan and the World Bank. It was emphasized that in recent years the World Bank has participated in financing a number of projects of high importance for the sustainable socio-economic development of Turkmenistan in such areas as healthcare, education, transport, communications, and energy.

The transport sector is one of the most important strategic areas for Turkmenistan. Particular attention is paid to the coordination of various modes of transport and for this purpose measures are being taken to create multifunctional regional and international transport corridors in the North-South and East-West directions.

In this regard, the need to intensify international trans-Caspian transportation and use the existing potential was noted.

Hero-Arkadag emphasized that the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashi, connecting the European and Asian regions, has great potential for increasing transit capacity. Turkmenistan’s readiness to expand mutually beneficial cooperation with the World Bank and consider its proposals regarding projects on creating transport corridors was confirmed. At the end of the meeting, the National Leader of Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag and representatives of financial structures expressed confidence that fruitful cooperation will be successfully continued and exchanged best wishes.
