Today, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in Arkadag city familiarised himself with projects of the new buildings erected and planned to realisation as well as with preparation for the national tree planting campaign and held a working meeting with participation of heads of profile sectors.

At present, realisation of the second turn of the new city, erected under the initiative and with assistance of Hero-Arkadag in the picturesque corner of the country in combination of traditions of national architecture with the advanced practice in the field of architecture, is carried out according to shown requirements. Implementation of the second turn of the grandiose town-planning program envisages construction of industrial and social projects, which proceeds with accelerated paces. Similar dynamics visually shows a consecutive character of noble causes and undertakings in our country.

Originality of the architectural ensemble erected on the basis of the concept «smart city», as well as its high ecological level, speaks of the complex realisation of such large program in our country. A similar approach is fully reflected in the shape of the magnificent city, which changes with every passing day. All this fully displays measures taken by the state to increase standards of living of townspeople and creation of new workplaces for them.

National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in Arkadag city, which represents an exemplary model of town-planning.

First of all, Hero-Arkadag headed towards the venue of the national tree planting action in the new city. The National Leader of the Turkmen people drew attention to the importance of maintenance of active participation in tree planting campaigns, which are traditionally held every year and is of great importance in improvement of ecology in the country. In this activity, the preference is given to saplings of evergreen trees, answering is local soil and environmental conditions, including those species that are resistant to heat and cold.

Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov and khyakim of Arkadag city G.Mammedova informed on preparation for the tree planting campaign. As thy informed, during the upcoming nationwide tree planting campaign in the smart city it is proposed to plant saplings of Turkmen juniper, grown by skilled gardeners.

Having approved the planting of Turkmen juniper for the first time in the new city, scientist Arkadag gave a number of recommendations on adjustment of subsequent regular care of saplings according to agro-technical standards.

At present, mass cultivation of the Turkmen juniper was adjusted in Akhal velayat. It is remarkable that thanks to assistance of Arkadagly Hero Serdar, gardeners-entrepreneurs obtained land plots for realisation of corresponding activity, including scientific ones. As consequence, they managed to cultivate various species of the juniper in etraps of the region. Nowadays rates of similar noble work, which is also entirely supported by the private sector, only grow and it makes a great positive impact on the ecological policy of the state.

Then, doctor Arkadag familiarised with construction of projects of the medical cluster in the new city. The main requirement at erection of constructions of industrial complex is quality. The same concerns raw materials used in their manufacture. Concerning the treatment of industrial waste, their appropriate recycling is attached a great attention. Focusing attention on adjustment of productions which will not render influence on life of townspeople, Hero-Arkadag gave a number of corresponding recommendations.

Further, the National Leader of the Turkmen people went to the site of projects where works proceed with accelerated paces.

Arkadag city as one of magnificent achievements of the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state changes with every passing day thanks to tireless efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people.

After arrival at the building site, Hero-Arkadag familiarised with projects that display measures taken within the realisation of the second turn of construction.

Among them - the project of the building of the Traffic Supervision Service of the Police, Vehicle Technical Inspection and Registration Service of the Police Department of Arkadag city and the design project of the interior of the museum with schemes of showrooms.

Having familiarised with projects, Hero-Arkadag made a number of remarks and introduced necessary corrective amendments, having directed attention to the importance of observance of requirements for social and industrial objects and accomplishment of their adjoining territories.

As to the displayed projects, concerning Traffic Supervision Service of the Police, Vehicle Technical Inspection and Registration Service of the Police Department of Arkadag city, first of all it is necessary to be focused on creation of necessary conditions in buildings and their appropriate equipment. The similar approach will allow to co-ordinate working processes and to provide qualitative service of vehicles, the National Leader of the Turkmen people underlined.

Hero-Arkadag also familiarised with internal design of the museum of the new city, having stated thereupon a number of remarks and having brought corresponding corrective amendments. The museum equipment, the services provided for visitors should make a positive impression. As a whole, it is necessary to provide a high degree of quality of civil work carried out in the city, having given particular attention to their completion in established dates.

Having noted that in development of projects of new buildings and the constructions erected in Arkadag city, requirements of the modern town-planning program should be considered, the National Leader of the Turkmen people underlined the significance of maintenance there favourable ecological conditions.

Then, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with participation of Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov and khyakim of Arkadag city G.Mammedova.

During the meeting, on the instructions of the head of the state with a view of maintenance of well-being of citizens the issues, concerning use of types of coloured markings on objects of road and transport infrastructure and in other spheres corresponding to the international norms, and the aspects connected with specificity of their application were discussed.

Hero-Arkadag pointed out the importance of study of international experience in this sphere and analysis of proposed types for use in corresponding areas. Then, the chosen types will be submitted for consideration of the President of Turkmenistan. After their approval by Arkadagly Hero Serdar, they will be actively applied according to the appointment in each sphere.

Throughout the meeting, Hero-Arkadag underlined that each of projects - apartment houses, buildings, establishments of public health services, military and law enforcement bodies as well as roadside curbs, lighting poles should be design with certain colour. Thus chosen colours should be steady against atmospheric precipitation and sunlight. The important requirement here is their conformity to modern standards, including concerning long term in operation.

During the working meeting, Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov reported on the course of activities carried out in the new city, in particular, rates of erection of objects of medical cluster. The National Leader of the Turkmen people marked that maintenance of quality of civil work planned there and their timely completion should be a priority issue.

Hero-Arkadag also informed that during his recent visit to Afghanistan with a view of start of the next stage of construction of the gas pipeline by route Serhetabat-Herat, our Afghani brothers who have left homeless as a result of earthquake, applied for help. The National Leader of the Turkmen people instructed Chairman of the State Committee for Construction of the City of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan D. Orazov to prepare proposals on this point and to submit them for consideration of the head of the state. Having consulted on this issue with Arkadagly Hero Serdar, following a wise saying «Kyýamat güni goňşudan», it is necessary to extend a helping hand to the Afghani people.

Hero-Arkadag underlined that it becomes reflexion of humanistic principles inherent in the Turkmen people and aspirations to good deeds aimed at support of neighbours. Throughout all history our people followed primordial noble traditions, which find now worthy continuation.

Then, khyakim of Arkadag city G.Mammedova reported on the course of preparation for the nationwide tree planting event and thanked Hero-Arkadag and Arkadagly Hero Serdar for maintenance of all conditions for the regular tree planting campaigns at high level. She also reported on adopted measures on appropriate organisation of forthcoming actions.

Organization of the tree planting campaign at a high level and active participation of population in it - young and old - will give to this action a maximum effect. At the same time, having noted necessity of a complex approach to mass planting of saplings that is of great importance in the context of maintenance of favourable climate in the region and ecological well-being, the National Leader of the Turkmen people gave to relevant authorities corresponding recommendations.

During the working meeting, which was held in the productive and business atmosphere, Hero-Arkadag paid attention to the importance, along with mass building, maintenance of high level of the noble causes peculiar to Turkmen people. It has a special importance for education of the growing generation in the spirit of patriotism, diligence and love to their native land.

Hero-Arkadag also made valuable recommendations on accomplishment of the objects erected within the second stage of construction of the new city, and their adjoining territories, maintenance of full conformity of city infrastructure and system of illumination of roads to modern requirements.

Having finished the working meeting, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished all successes in fulfilment of goals and left the place.

The Turkmen delegation led by the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, as part of an official visit to the Russian Federation, visited the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, where the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan left a note in the Book of distinguished guests.

Next, a meeting took place between the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D. Gulmanova and the Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko.

During the meeting, the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan conveyed to the Chairperson of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko warm words of greeting and good wishes from the Esteemed President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Hero-Arkadag.

D. Gulmanova expressed confidence that the meetings and negotiations during the visit will contribute to the further strengthening of bilateral inter-parliamentary relations. A high assessment was given to the inter-parliamentary relations between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation and as well as readiness for their further development in all areas.

During the meeting, issues related to the development of inter-parliamentary relations established between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation were discussed. In particular, the Turkmen side's participation as a guest of the Parliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States in events held within the framework of this organization was noted as an example of continuing traditional principles.

The sides noted the significant role of cooperation between the two states in the international legal sphere for the further development of large-scale, equal, and mutually beneficial relations between the two countries, which will contribute to strengthening friendly relations between peoples and supporting interstate partnerships through parliamentary diplomacy.

During the negotiations, the importance of improving the activities of the inter-parliamentary friendship group was noted, which promotes the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, the intensification of relations between relevant committees, young and female parliamentarians, and the holding of meetings and conferences at the parliamentary level.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a signing ceremony was held for a Cooperation Agreement between the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. This agreement aims to give new impetus to cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries.

 On October 21, 2025, the Turkmen delegation led by the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, as part of the cultural events organized in accordance with the program, took part in the wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier near the Kremlin Wall in the Alexander Garden in Moscow, honoring the memory of the soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. And also visited the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve «Moscow Kremlin». 

Сегодня Национальный Лидер туркменского народа, Председатель Халк Маслахаты Туркменистана Гурбангулы Бердымухамедов ознакомился с ходом работ по строительству на территории Афганистана участка Серхетабат–Герат, именуемого «Arkadagyň ak ýoly» и являющегося частью проекта газопровода Туркменистан–Афганистан–Пакистан–Индия.

Внешнеполитическая стратегия нашей страны, инициированная Героем-Аркадагом, успешно реализуется под мудрым руководством Президента Сердара Бердымухамедова. Одним из ключевых направлений данной стратегии является последовательное укрепление сотрудничества со странами региона на основе принципов взаимной выгоды и добрососедства.

Ярким подтверждением тому являются состоявшиеся в сентяб­ре 2024 года при участии Героя-­Аркадага открытие на туркмено-афганской границе 177-метрового железнодорожного моста стальной магистрали Серхетабат–Тургунди, начало строительства участка Серхетабат–Герат проекта транснацио­нального газопровода Туркменистан–Афганистан–Пакистан–Индия (ТАПИ) и оптико-волоконной линии связи Серхетабат–Герат, именуемых «Arkadagyň ak ýoly», складского комплекса в сухом порту железнодорожной станции Тургунди и участка Тургунди–Санабар первой очереди железной дороги Тургунди–Герат, а также ввод в эксплуатацию расположенной в афганской провинции Герат электростанции «Nur-el-Jahad» в рамках претворения в жизнь первого этапа проекта линии электропередачи Туркменистан–Афганистан–Пакистан (ТАП).

Нейтральный Туркменистан, руководствуясь принципами миролюбия и добрососедства, последовательно выступает за укреп­ление благополучной жизни в Афганистане.

Наша страна привержена созданию современной системы энергетической безопасности. Инициированный Героем-­Аркадагом проект газопровода Туркменистан–Афганистан–Пакистан–Индия направлен на благополучие братских народов стран региона и внесёт значительный вклад в развитие этой системы. Вместе с тем данный проект является важным шагом в реализации энергетической стратегии, нацеленной на коренную модернизацию отечественного топливно-энергетического комплекса, внедрение инноваций и экологически чистых технологий, диверсификацию транспортировки энергоресурсов на мировые рынки с учётом интересов производителей, транзитёров и потребителей.

Наряду со строительством проекта ТАПИ необходимо отметить значимость проектов линии электропередачи Туркменистан–Афганистан–Пакистан, оптико-волоконной системы связи, железнодорожной инфраструктуры, реализуемых по инициативе нашей страны.

...Герой-Аркадаг направился в Международный аэропорт столицы, откуда отбыл в Марыйский велаят.

В аэропорту Героя-Аркадага провожали официальные лица страны.

Здесь Герой-Аркадаг в беседе с официальными лицами страны подчеркнул, что Туркменистан и Афганистан успешно реализуют масштабные совместные проекты, в частности, в транспортно-коммуникационной и топливно-энергетической областях, основанные на взаимоуважении, дружбе и братстве. Это имеет особое значение для мирного социально-экономического восстановления соседней страны и её успешной интеграции в современную систему мирохозяйственных связей.

Спустя некоторое время Герой-Аркадаг прибыл в Международный аэропорт города Мары.

Затем Герой-Аркадаг на вертолёте прибыл в город Серхетабат Тахтабазарского этрапа Марыйского велаята.

Отсюда Герой-Аркадаг на автомобиле направился в афганскую провинцию Рабат-Санги, к месту строительства участка газопровода Серхетабат–Герат, именуемого «Arkadagyň ak ýoly».

Здесь Национального Лидера туркменского народа, Председателя Халк Маслахаты Туркменистана Героя-Аркадага тепло приветствовали члены официальных делегаций нашей страны и Афганистана.

Затем здесь состоялось торжественное собрание.

Перед началом мероприятия были вознесены молитвы к Всевышнему об успешной реализации этого важного проекта, направленного на благо народов двух дружественных стран.

Приветствуя Героя-Аркадага и участников церемонии, заместитель Председателя Кабинета Министров Туркменистана, курирующий топ­ливно-энергетический комплекс, подчеркнул, что благодаря постоянной поддержке Аркадаглы Героя Сердара в настоящее время в нашей стране проводится большая работа по развитию и модернизации неф­тегазовой отрасли.

Как отмечалось, прибытие ­Героя-Аркадага для ознакомления с ходом строительных работ на газопроводе Серхетабат–Герат, именуе­мом «Arkadagyň ak ýoly», а также его личное участие в нынешнем мероприя­тии – большая честь для работников неф­тегазовой отрасли и вдохновляет их на дальнейший усердный труд.

От имени работников топливно-энергетического комплекса вице-премьер пожелал Герою-Аркадагу и Президенту Сердару Бердымухамедову крепкого здоровья, успехов в масштабной и благородной деятельности в интересах народа и обратился к Герою-­Аркадагу принять в качестве памятного подарка от Государственного концерна «Türkmengaz» специальную униформу.

Затем слово было предоставлено Герою-Аркадагу.

Обращаясь к участникам торжественного собрания с исторической речью по случаю знаменательного события, Герой-Аркадаг подчерк­нул, что в эру Возрождения новой эпохи могущественного государства под руководством Аркадаглы Героя Сердара успешно реализуются грандиозные проекты, которые способствуют расширению дружественных и добрососедских отношений.

Отмечалось, что принимаются масштабные меры для увеличения объёмов добычи туркменского природного газа и обеспечения его надёжных поставок на внешние рынки. Обо всём этом в полной мере свидетельствует осуществляе­мая Государственным концерном «Türkmengaz» в Международный год мира и доверия деятельность по прокладке новых газопроводов международной значимости, констатировал Герой-Аркадаг.

Как подчёркивалось, наличие колоссальных запасов углеводородных ресурсов позволяет нашей стране экспортировать природный газ на долгосрочной основе. И здесь огромное значение обретает проект газопровода Туркменистан–Афганистан–Пакистан–Индия, который отвечает интересам братских народов государств региона: транснациональный проект как очередной шаг на пути реализации энергетической стратегии Туркменистана по модернизации национального топливно-энергетического комплекса придаст новый импульс устойчивому развитию всего региона.

11 сентября прошлого года в Марыйском велаяте нашей страны был дан старт прокладке ключевого звена газопровода Туркменистан–Афганистан–Пакистан–Индия – участка Серхетабат–Герат, именуемого «Arkadagyň ak ýoly», что стало одним из значимых международных событий.

Как отметил Национальный ­Лидер туркменского народа, в тот день, золотыми буквами вписанный в историю турк­мено-афганских отношений, состоялось открытие новых сооружений и началось строительство важных объектов, что демонстрирует значительную успешность сотрудничества Туркменистана и Афганистана на основе доброй воли.

В целом сегодня взаимоотношения туркменского и афганского народов, которые восходят к древности, существенно укрепляются. Успешно претворяются в жизнь и значимые в масштабах истории проекты в интересах обоих народов. Выполнение столь крупных проектов служит наглядным свидетельством добрососедских отношений между Туркменистаном и Афганистаном: они имеют большое значение, так как окажут положительное влияние на социально-экономическое развитие не только стран-участниц, но и всех государств региона, продолжил Герой-Аркадаг.

Газопровод Туркменистан–Афганистан–Пакистан–Индия имеет огромное значение в процветании как соседних государств, так и регио­на в целом, в формировании экономически устойчивого пространства. Нашими самоотверженными газовиками успешно проложен его туркменский участок протяжённостью 214 километров. Сегодня мы становимся свидетелями продолжения прокладки до афганской провинции Герат очередного этапа газопровода по маршруту Серхетабат–Герат, именуемому «Arkadagyň ak ýoly». Его протяжённость составляет 153 километра.

Как отметил Герой-Аркадаг, для реализации данного проекта при содействии Аркадаглы Героя Сердара сформирована прочная материально-техническая база: данный процесс обеспечен более чем 200 единицами современной и мощной техники. В выполнение проекта будут привлечены и граждане Афганистана, а с его полной реализацией появятся новые рабочие места для афганского народа. Кроме того, в Афганистан ежегодно будут поступать средства в размере в среднем свыше 1 миллиарда долларов США. Всё это окажет положительное влияние не только на туркмено-афганские отношения, но и на регион в целом.

Следовательно, данные проекты преследуют общую цель – придать мощный импульс долгосрочному развитию наших стран и поддерживать устойчивое развитие на пространстве региона, констатировал Национальный Лидер туркменского народа Герой-Аркадаг и, пользуясь возможностью, поблагодарил наших самоотверженных газовиков за участие в претворении в жизнь крупномасштабного проекта между Туркменистаном и Афганистаном, а также афганскую сторону за поддержку данного проекта и участие в его реализации.

Пусть узы дружбы и братства между туркменским и афганским народами всегда процветают, пожелал Герой-Аркадаг.

Затем Герой-Аркадаг благословил реа­лизацию очередного этапа ключевого звена проекта газопровода Туркменистан–Афганистан–Пакистан–Индия до афганской провинции Герат – газопровода по маршруту Серхетабат–Герат, именуемому «Arkadagyň ak ýoly».

Далее слово было предоставлено замес­тителю премьер-министра Афганистана по экономическим вопросам Абдулу Гани Барадару.

В начале выступления, поприветствовав Героя-Аркадага и участников церемонии на афганской земле, Абдул Гани Барадар передал наилучшие пожелания от Председателя Кабинета Министров Афганистана Моллы Мохаммада Хасана Ахунда.

Как отмечалось, проект ТАПИ, имеющий геополитическое и геоэкономическое значение, в настоящее время успешно реализуется. Данный проект – не только газопровод, но и символ сотрудничества, взаимовыгодных экономических отношений и усилий, направленных на общее благополучие. Наряду с этим проект служит мостом для укрепления доверия между странами региона и имеет большое значение в обеспечении энергетической безопасности и стабильности.

Реализация данного проекта газопровода будет способствовать обеспечению процветания народов стран-участниц и созданию тысячи рабочих мест. В этой связи подчёркивалось, что афганская сторона рассматривает проект ТАПИ не только с экономической точки зрения, но и как важный шаг в развитии сотрудничества между Афганистаном и Туркменистаном.

Отмечалось, что вдоль маршрута данного газопровода будет создана соответствующая инфраструктура, в том числе линия электропередачи Туркменистан–Афганистан–Пакистан, железные и автомобильные дороги, а также логистические цент­ры. Это позволит сформировать единую систему торгово-экономических связей и энергетического сотрудничества в регионе.

Подчеркнув, что афгано-турк­менские отношения основаны на дружбе и братстве, общих культурных и духовных ценностях, Абдул Гани Барадар от имени афганской стороны выразил признательность Герою-Аркадагу и Президенту Туркменистана за поддержку в развитии совместного сотрудничества.

Затем был продемонстрирован видеоролик, рассказывающий о газопроводе по маршруту Серхет­абат–Герат, именуемому «Arkadagyň ak ýoly».

Далее, обращаясь к участникам торжества, Герой-Аркадаг подчеркнул, что, как известно, Соединённые Штаты Америки в числе первых поддержали проект газопровода Туркменистан–Афганистан–Пакистан–Индия. За годы независимости отношения между Туркменистаном и США развивались на высоком уровне. Сегодня двустороннее сотрудничество охватывает множество направлений, в частности, торговлю, инвестиции и контакты между деловыми кругами.

В этом контексте особо отмечалась огромная роль Туркмено-американского делового совета. Вот уже много лет известные американские компании проводят в Туркменистане большую работу. В нашей стране успешно функционируют американские компании «Boeing», «Case New Holland», «John Deere», «Caterpillar», «General Electric», «Sikorsky» и «Nicklaus Design».

В этой связи Герой-Аркадаг подчерк­нул вклад американской компании «Bownstein», выступающей консультантом грандиозного проекта газопровода Туркменистан–Афганистан–Пакистан–Индия и предоставляющей ценные и полезные рекомендации в его реализации.

Состоявшаяся в нынешнем году в Национальной туристической зоне «Аваза» Третья Конференция Организации Объединённых Наций по развивающимся странам, не имеющим выхода к морю, значительно приумножила авторитет Туркменистана на международной арене. ­Вместе с тем недавно, на 18-м пленарном заседании 80-й сессии Генеральной Ассамб­леи Организации Объединённых Наций была единогласно принята Резолюция «Авазинская политическая декларация», которая сопряжена с прошедшей в Национальной туристической зоне «Аваза» международной Конференцией.

Примечательно, что в связи с Конференцией Президент Соединённых Штатов Америки Дональд Трамп направил поздравление, подчеркнул Герой-Аркадаг. Пользуясь возможностью, Национальный Лидер туркменского народа выразил искреннюю благодарность Президенту США Дональду Трампу за поддержку проводимых в нашей стране столь значимых мероприя­тий международного уровня, за поздравительное послание, а также за поддержание проекта газопровода Туркменистан–Афганистан–Пакистан–Индия.

Озвучив девиз Президента ­Аркадаглы Героя Сердара «Родина является Родиной только с народом! Государство является государством только с народом!», Герой-Аркадаг восславил работников нефтегазового комплекса, особенно самоотверженных туркменских газовиков, которые, не жалея сил и энергии, проводят такую большую работу и участвуют в реализации значимого в масштабах истории проекта.

Далее Герой-Аркадаг и участники церемонии ознакомились с мощной техникой, приобретённой для строи­тельства газопровода.

Эта техника, закупленная по инициативе Президента Сердара Бердымухамедова, свидетельствует об экономической мощи Туркменистана и играет важную роль в реализации проекта ТАПИ.

Затем Герой-Аркадаг прошёл к месту сварки стыка труб до афганской провинции Герат – газопровода по маршруту Серхетабат–Герат, именуемому «Arkadagyň ak ýoly».

Здесь руководитель афганского филиала Акционерного общества закрытого типа «Türkmengazgurluşyk» Х.Сапаров проинформировал об осуществляемых работах.

Как отмечалось, в сентябре прошлого года при участии Героя-­Аркадага был дан старт строительным работам по реализации проекта газопровода Серхетабат–Герат, именуемого «Arkadagyň ak ýoly». Герой-Аркадаг проявил большой интерес к строительству этого газопровода, посетил туркменских газовиков и ознакомился с условиями работы, что вдохновило их на новые трудовые свершения.

Руководитель афганского филиала Акционерного общества закрытого типа «Türkmengazgurluşyk» обратился к Герою-Аркадагу с просьбой благословить начало сварочных работ на участке газопровода Серхетабат–Герат, именуемого «Arkadagyň ak ýoly», до афганской провинции Герат.

Муфтий Туркменистана прочитал молитву об успешной реализации этого крупного газового проекта, имеющего региональное и мировое значение.

В торжественной обстановке Герой-Аркадаг дал благословение на старт сварочных работ. В этот момент началась реализация очередного этапа газопровода.

По завершении церемонии при участии Героя-Аркадага был дан той-садака.

Затем, тепло попрощавшись со всеми, Национальный Лидер туркменского народа, Председатель Халк Маслахаты Гурбангулы Бердымухамедов на вертолёте отбыл в город Мары.

Через некоторое время авиалайнер Героя-Аркадага, вылетевший из Мары, приземлился в Международном аэропорту столицы.

Таким образом, визит Героя-­Аркадага в Афганистан продемонстрировал приверженность Туркменистана развитию добрососедских отношений в регионе. В настоящее время туркмено-афганские связи являются ярким примером взаимовыгодного сотрудничества, отвечающего не только интересам дружественных народов двух стран, но и вносят весомый вклад в укрепление устойчивого развития региона.

On October 20, 2025, the official visit of the Turkmen delegation led by the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation began. The purpose of the visit is to inform the international community of the activities carried out by our country on the basis of the principles of permanent Neutrality for the benefit of the country, the people and all of humanity, as well as to strengthen the inter-parliamentary relations established between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.

On October 19-20, 2025, representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan took part in the 151st  Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union  «Adherence to humanitarian norms and support for humanitarian aid during a crisis», held in the city of Geneva, Swiss Confederation.

During the meeting, a representative of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan spoke on the issues on the Assembly's agenda and noted the importance of Turkmenistan's positive international initiatives, whose status of permanent Nneutrality has been recognized three times by the United Nations, in strengthening peace and trust, as well as the activities carried out in our country to ensure equitable social development.

Furthermore, a representative of the national Parliament participated in a forum of young parliamentarians held as part of the 151st Assembly and spoke about the effective youth policy efforts in our country and their role in developing international cooperation. And also emphasized the importance of the activities being implemented, based on «The Strategy for International Cooperation of the Youth of Turkmenistan for 2023-2030». 

The Turkmen side noted the results of the Youth Forum held in August of this year within the framework of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. 

This international meeting has become an important platform for exchanging experiences among young people, promoting joint initiatives, and increasing the political and social activity of the younger generation.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which a number of issues of state life were considered.

Chairwoman of the Mejlis D.Gulmanova, who informed on the work carried out to modernise the national legislation, was the first to take the floor at the meeting.

As she informed, at present, with a view of perfection of legal acts in force according to the Constitution of Turkmenistan and requirements  of the time, additions and amendments are made to such codes, as administrative offences, criminal, arbitration procedures, criminal procedure, criminal-executive, family, social protection of the population and  other laws.

In addition to that, relations with foreign states and international organisations consistently develop. In this connection, she informed on meetings with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia, in which issues of strengthening of friendly relations and inter-parliamentary relations were discussed.

Besides it, with a view of promotion of the policy of peace, trust and humanism implemented in our country as well as the experience obtained in this area by the parliamentary diplomacy at the international level, the second meeting of speakers of parliaments of member countries of the Group of friends of neutrality «Inter-parliamentary dialogue – an important tool of maintenance of global peace and trust» was held in the hybrid format.

Summing up the information, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the importance of continuation of work on preparation of new bills corresponding to realities of the time.

Further, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet Kh.Geldimyradov reported on preparation for the scientific-practical conference timed to the 32nd anniversary of introduction of the national manat into circulation.

As he informed, in the given forum, which is to be organised on November 1 of the current year, participation of 250 representatives of ministries, departments and credit institutions, higher and specialized vocational institutions of the financial and economic and bank complex is expected. During the conference, it is planned to hear reports on the undertakings aimed at social and economic development of the country, transformations in the bank sphere, and economic achievements in the field of harmonious management of the national manat under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan. At the same time, it is planned to discuss the issues connected with the monetary and credit policy, modern bank services rendered on the basis of introduction of digital technologies as well as perfection of system of electronic payments and cooperation with international financial structures.

In the given context, for consideration of the head of the state, a relevant proposal was submitted.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out the importance of proper preparation and organisation of the scientific-practical conference devoted to the 32nd anniversary of introduction of the national currency – manat into circulation and gave the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet a number of instructions to that end.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Amanov reported on preparation for the XXX International conference and exhibition «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2025».

As he informed, by this time over 70 foreign companies, about 30 local enterprises and private businessmen who showed an interest to take part in the exhibition as well as profile ministries and sectoral departments of our country which will display their expositions were registered. Besides it, about 1390 delegates are expected to participate in the concurrent conference.

On the margins of the forum, it is planned to organise plenary sessions «Shaping the future of global energy in the International year of peace and trust - innovations, energy transition and strategic cooperation» and «A growing role of Turkmen natural gas: expansion of export and facilitation to energy transition» as well as thematic sessions on significant issues.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted a relevant proposal for consideration of the head of the state.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that annually held forums and exhibitions devoted to the oil and gas sector, promote perfection of activity of the fuel and energy complex. In this connection, the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to prepare properly and hold the International conference and exhibition «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2025» at high level.

Further, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet T.Atahallyev reported on the activity, carried out in the agricultural branch and the course of seasonal agricultural campaigns in velayats.

As he informed, these days in agricultural fields of the country, farmers work to gather cotton within a short space of time. Along with it, necessary measures are taken to process raw cotton harvest at ginneries and to make an efficient use of harvesting combines and other machinery during the cotton-picking season.

At the same time, the wheat sowing campaigns continue for the next year harvest. The special attention is given to maintenance of productivity of agricultural machinery used in the sowing campaign. Sown areas are irrigated.

The Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet reported on preparation for forthcoming actions on the occasion of the holiday of Turkmen alabay, which will be held on the last Sunday of October.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the importance of the further complex development of the agricultural sector. As he marked, it is necessary complete the winter wheat sowing and cotton-picking harvest season within the established terms and properly.

Besides it, the head of the state has instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to prepare duly for the actions devoted to the holiday of Turkmen alabay, which will be held on the last Sunday of October.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Annamammedov reported on the work carried out to modernise manufacturing enterprises of "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern. 

Having marked that a start of construction of a new modern complex for manufacture of  mineral fertilizers of the Turkmenabat chemical plant named after S.A.Niyazov in Lebap velayat, which was given with participation of the President of Turkmenistan was the event of historical significance, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet on behalf of all workers of the chemical branch expressed his warm gratitude to the head of the state and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Hero-Arkadag and conveyed his wishes of sound health, longevity and successes in their noble undertakings.

Then, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet reported on the work carried out to modernize industrial facilities of chemical industry. These activities are implemented in cooperation with advanced companies of the world that helps to attain the designed capacity of specialized enterprises, to increase in volumes and improve the quality of production.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that it is necessary to achieve full involvement of designed capacity of manufacturing enterprises of local chemical industry. In this connection, the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to continue ongoing effective work on reconstruction and modernisation of manufacturing enterprises of "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern. 

Further, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet N.Atagulyev reported on preparation for Days of economy of Turkmenistan to be held Frankfurt city of Germany.

As he informed, it is planned to acquaint participants of the forum with investment projects in oil and gas as well as chemical branches, modern agricultural technologies and innovations in the textile industry, development of public health services and pharmaceutical industry, including with the medical cluster in Arkadag city.

In its framework, it is also planned to organise bilateral meetings and to sign the documents concerning business partnership.

At present, for participation in the given forum more than 50 organisations-establishments specialising in various spheres and companies of Germany, were registered.

Having reported that with a view to hold Days of economy of Turkmenistan at high level, participation of heads of branches of national economy, banking establishments, enterprises of «Arkadag Medisina Klasteri Menejment», Chamber of Commerce and Industry is planned, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted for consideration of the head of the state a corresponding proposal.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked that our country carries out a large scale activity on development and strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation with world states. In this connection, the head of the state with a view of further promotion of bilateral trade and economic relations instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to prepare properly for Days of economy of Turkmenistan in the Federal Republic of Germany and to provide its high organizational level.

Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet B.Seyidova reported on preparation for the «Week of  Permanent neutrality - a basis of friendship and brotherhood», which will be held in theatres of the country on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan.

As he informed, within the Week, which is planned to be held in December of the current year, in theatres of the country along with earlier plays staged on the basis of works by foreign classics it is planned to present to our compatriots a premiere of several new plays.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet submitted for consideration of the head of the state a corresponding proposal.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that in the International year of peace and trust, the events devoted to the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality are regularly held. In this connection, the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet to organise the Week «Permanent neutrality - a basis of friendship and brotherhood» in theatres of the country at a high level.

Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet B.Orazdurdyeva reported on drafts of «Strategy of development of higher vocational education in Turkmenistan for 2026-2052» and Resolution on its approval.

As she reported, on the basis of the instruction given by Hero-Arkadag on September 24, 2024 at the meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, drafts of the specified Strategy and the Plan of actions on its realisation for 2026-2030 were developed.

The Strategy stipulates according to international standards and national experience improvement of the system of management of higher vocational education, introduction of modern mechanisms of planning and management taking into account demographic indicators, development of labour market and economy planning, generation of the national environment of competitive higher vocational education on the basis of advanced methods of training, digital technologies and artificial intelligence.

At the same time, it is planned to carry out cardinal modernisation of educational activity at the expense of state and international accreditation, constantly to raise the professional level of the faculty, employees and heads, to create modern tools of interaction of science, education, manufacture and business, to improve the material and technical basis  of higher educational institutions, to work for inclusion of higher educational institutions in the international ratings of leading world high schools.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet submitted for consideration of the head of the state drafts of corresponding documents.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out the significance of further perfection of activity of higher educational institutions of the country. Having signed the Resolution «On approval of the Strategy of development of higher vocational education in Turkmenistan for 2026-2052», the head of the state gave the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet corresponding instructions.

Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs R.Meredov took the floor.

As he marked, in August of the current year, with the assistance of the President of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag, the Third Conference of the United Nations on the land-locked developing countries was held successfully  in the Avaza national tourist zone. For participation in the International forum our country was visited by delegations from 104 states and 46 international organisations. Within the Conference 6 plenary sessions, 5 high-level meetings at «round table», 7 forums of high level and about 40 concurrent events took place.

During events, a wide spectrum of the issues connected with development of the land-locked developing states were considered. In particular, such issues as development of science, education and innovations, international trade, creation of sustainable infrastructure, combat against climate change and realisation of the Goals of sustainable development were discussed.

The Conference was widely highlighted in the world news media.

Following the results of the international forum, the Avaz political declaration was adopted.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs informed a good news that, considering the political significance of this International forum and huge importance of its results for the world community, at the 18th plenary meeting of the 80th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, held on October 14, 2025 in New York city of the USA, the Resolution «Avaza political declaration» was unanimously adopted.

Taking an opportunity, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs warmly congratulated the head of Turkmenistan and Hero-Arkadag with this significant event.

As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined, efforts of permanently neutral Fatherland for preservation of universal peace, development of mutually beneficial relations find a wide support with the international community and the good news arrived from the United Nations serves a clear evidence of the fact.

Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs R.Meredov reported concerning cooperation within the Strategic Advisory Council "Turkmenistan-United Nations".

As  known, the given Council was created according to the Resolution of the head of the state in March, 2024. On its platform priority aspects of partnership of Turkmenistan are discussed with the United Nations Organization, covering such spheres, as peace and security, economy, sustainable development, education, climate change and humanitarian area.

Up to date, four sessions of the Strategic Advisory Council were held. In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs reported on results of the 4th session, the agenda of which included a number of topical issues, held on October 16 of the current year.

In particular, the final version of the Framework programme of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United Nations in the field of sustainable development for 2026-2030 was considered and was preliminarily. Since 2005 to this day in our country four Framework programmes were implemented. In the context of achievement of SDGs, the next Framework programme forms an interaction basis in such areas as national, regional and world policy, social and economic and ecological spheres.

Joint actions on realisation of the initiatives stated in Priority positions of Turkmenistan at the 80th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations Organization were also are discussed. It was in this connection underlined that the proposals  sounded in the speech  of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at that session, received complete support of Representations of the United Nations in our country, expressed readiness for teamwork on their implementation.

At the session, a wide spectrum of the issues concerning results of the Third Conference of the United Nations on the land-locked developing countries and realisation of the documents adopted in its course, in particular, the Avaza political declaration and the Avaza program of actions for 2024-2034 were considered.

Besides it, drafts of joint programs, present condition and upcoming work in their frameworks on immediate prospects in the field of youth policy, reduction of emissions of methane, digital technologies and energy sector were discussed.

For consideration of the head of the state, the proposals, which were put forward at the 4th meeting of the Strategic advisory council "Turkmenistan-United Nations" were also presented.

So, with a view of fulfilment of the Road map to strengthen accountability on SDGs in Turkmenistan it was proposed to organise a seminar with participation of representatives of corresponding official bodies, public organisations, and also employees of Representations of the United Nations in the last week of October of the current year.

Along with it, it is proposed with the assistance of representatives of our country and the United Nations to prepare the Program of joint actions on realisation of Priority positions of Turkmenistan at the 80th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations Organization and to develop the National road map on implementation of the documents adopted following the results of the Third UN Conference on LLDCs.

With a view of system discussion of programs and the projects planned to implementation in our country together with the United Nations, and increases of their efficiency it was offered to create the Interdepartmental coordination commission and to hold its first session in November of this year.

Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that relations between our independent country and the United Nations Organization consistently develop. Having emphasised the importance of the further strengthening of cooperation within the Strategic advisory council "Turkmenistan-United Nations", the head of the state approved the presented proposals  and instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs to carry out corresponding work.

Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet M.Chakyev reported on adopted measures to strengthen the material and technical basis of the river transport.

As he informed, at that, a special significance is given to repair of ships and improvement of material and technical basis of the branch. Realisation of the corresponding project in this sphere, envisaging formation of new capacities and equipment of the local industry by the modern equipment, is urged to promote development of the sphere of national marine and river transport, perfection of shipbuilding and repair work, increase of industrial potential of the country.

In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted corresponding proposals for consideration of the head of the state.

Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that in the country an efficient work is carried out to develop the national branch of marine and river transport. Having approved the proposal to strengthen the material and technical basis of the Joint-stock company of open type «Derýaýollary», the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to carry out corresponding work to that end.

Then, the President of Turkmenistan, addressing members of the Cabinet, informed that from the United Nations Organization the good news arrived.

- At the 18th plenary meeting of the 80th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations the Resolution «Avaza political declaration» that became one more acknowledgement of huge value of the Third Conference of the United Nations Organization on the developing land-locked countries, which was held at high level in the Avaza national tourist zone, was unanimously adopted. The support of this Resolution by many member countries of the United Nations Organization, and co-authorship of a great number of the states – displays a huge respect for Turkmenistan, - the head of the state said.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov warmly congratulated members of the Cabinet with the adoption of the Resolution «Avaza political declaration».

At the meeting, a number of other issues of state life, on which corresponding decisions were made, were also considered.

Concluding the online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished its participants sound health, family well-being and great successes in their work for prosperity of our sovereign fatherland.

Сегодня Президент Сердар Бердымухамедов принял заместителя Премьер-министра – руководителя Аппарата Правительства Республики Казахстан Галымжана Койшыбаева, прибывшего в нашу страну с визитом.

Выразив признательность за оказанный на туркменской земле радушный приём, гость передал сердечные приветствия и наилучшие пожелания от Президента Республики Казахстан Касым-Жомарта Токаева на имя главы Туркменистана и Национального Лидера туркменского народа, вносящих значительный вклад в укрепление двусторонних отношений.

Тепло поприветствовав заместителя Председателя Правительства дружественной страны и адресовав ответные добрые пожелания Президенту Касым-Жомарту Токаеву, Президент Сердар Бердымухамедов отметил, что Туркменистан придаёт большое значение расширению партнёрства с Респуб­ликой Казахстан. Как подчеркнул глава государства, двусторонние отношения развиваются в политико-дипломатической, торгово-экономической и культурно-гуманитарной сферах. В этой связи также была констатирована активная динамика политического диалога.

Отметив, что регулярные контакты на высшем уровне служат ключевым фактором в определении направлений комплексного развития межгосударственного взаимодействия, Президент Сердар Бердымухамедов подтвердил приверженность Туркменистана дальнейшему тесному сотрудничеству с братским Казахстаном.

В свою очередь гость подчеркнул, что в Казахстане высоко ценят традиционно дружественные отношения с нашей страной, внешнеполитический курс которой опирается на статус постоянного нейтралитета и имеет огромное значение в контексте укрепления мира и устойчивого развития на пространстве региона.

Как отмечалось в ходе встречи, особое место в повестке межгосударственного диалога занимает торгово-экономическое партнёрство. Его укреплению способствует сотрудничество в транспорт­но-логистической сфере, включая развитие международных коридоров, особенно по направлению Север–Юг.

В числе перспективных направлений туркмено-казахстанского взаимодействия также были определены цифровизация, совершенствование инфраструктуры и инноваций, «зелёная» экономика и охрана окружающей среды.

Вместе с тем отмечалось большое значение, придавае­мое наращиванию культурно-гуманитарного диалога: отношения в данной области способствуют ещё большему сближению братских народов двух стран и взаимообогащению культур. Особую роль в развитии этого взаимодействия играет Межправительственная туркмено-казахстанская комиссия по экономическому, научно-техническому и культурному сотрудничеству.

В завершение, выразив уверенность, что итоги переговоров и встреч, предстоящих в рамках нынешнего визита в Туркменистан замес­тителя Премьер-министра – руководителя Аппарата Правительства Республики Казахстан Галымжана Койшыбаева, придадут новый импульс взаимовыгодному двустороннему партнёрству, Президент Сердар Бердымухамедов пожелал ему успехов в работе.

Сегодня по поручению Президента Сердара Бердымухамедова в Минис­терстве иностранных дел состоялось очередное заседание Национальной комиссии Туркменистана по делам Организации Объединённых Наций по вопросам образования, науки и культуры (ЮНЕСКО), в котором приняли участие некоторые заместители Председателя Кабинета Министров, руководители и представители профильных министерств и ведомств страны, общественных организаций, СМИ.

На заседании рассматривались вопросы взаимодействия в рамках специализированного учреждения ООН. Как подчёркивалось, в нашей стране особое значение придаётся последовательному расширению отношений со структурами ООН, в частности, с ЮНЕСКО, полноправным членом которой Туркменистан является с 1993 года. Эта организация играет важную роль в международной деятельности по сохранению памятников культуры и природных ландшафтов, работает над созданием условий для открытого диалога, основанного на уважении всеобщих ценностей и достоинства каждого народа.

За долгие годы сотрудничества в нашем государстве достигнуты огромные успехи в реализации мандата ЮНЕСКО, а также в повышении культурного, образовательного и научного потенциала. Это касается вопросов, связанных с международным признанием материального и нематериального культурного наследия Туркменистана.

Была заслушана информация об итогах работы Национальной комиссии Туркменистана по делам ­ЮНЕСКО за январь–сентябрь нынешнего года в соответствии с поручениями Президента Туркменистана и задачами, обозначенными в Плане на 2025 год. В данном контексте отмечалось, что за отчётный период проведены десятки онлайн-встреч, консультаций с представителями ЮНЕСКО и её региональных подразделений, в ходе которых были рассмотрены перспективные направления плодотворного партнёрства в области науки, образования, культуры и экологии. Также состоялись зарубежные визиты для участия в международных и региональных конференциях, семинарах, организованных ЮНЕСКО и её региональным офисом в Алматы.

В выступлениях подчёркивалось, что с присоединением Туркменистана к Конвенции ЮНЕСКО «По охране нематериального культурного наследия», Конвенции ЮНЕСКО «По охране всемирного культурного и природного наследия», другим многочисленным документам данной Организации страна принимает активное участие в международных усилиях по реализации её положений, проводит масштабную работу по сохранению для будущих поколений историко-культурных и природных памятников, являющихся неотъемлемой частью мировой цивилизации.

Одним из основных вопросов повестки дня заседания стал доклад о проводимой работе по созданию геопарков, включающих природные и культурные объекты, а также ландшафтов, имеющих международное геологическое значение, в рамках реализации Программы ЮНЕСКО по геопаркам. Как отмечалось, на современном этапе человечество усиленно ведёт поиск путей сохранения окружающей среды и устойчивого развития планеты Земля. Создание в Туркменистане национальных геологических парков является одним из перспективных аспектов природощадящего неиндустриального развития территорий.

Цель программы – создать глобальную сеть территорий в соответствии с особенностями местного развития, которые используют и продвигают геологическое наследие. Геопарки ЮНЕСКО представляют собой единое пространство, где объекты и ландшафты международного геологического значения управляются на основе комплексной концепции охраны, образования, исследования и развития, они подлежат охране в рамках национального, регионального и местного законодательства. Сохранение геологического и негеологического наследия территории, с возможностью использования их как объектов для популяризации науки и туризма, является главной задачей геопарков. Они представляют историю местного ландшафта, его внешние формы и обеспечивают взаимосвязи как человека и природы, так и внутри человеческого общества.

Участникам заседания была представлена информация о процедуре формирования геопарков, международном опыте и требованиях организации. Создание такого объекта в Туркменистане станет важным шагом в деле сохранения национального природного наследия и развития экотуризма. В данной связи обсуждались перспективы создания геопарка в нашей стране, который мог бы войти в глобальную сеть геопарков ­ЮНЕСКО. Как отмечалось, в стране имеются уникальные геологические объекты. Особый интерес вызывают каньоны на юго-восточном берегу залива Гарабогаз, грязевые вулканы, которые представляют собой геологическое наследие международного значения.

Создание геопарков в этих районах может способствовать их комп­лексному развитию – не только охране природных богатств, но и поддержке местной экономики, созданию рабочих мест, развитию экологического туризма и повышению осведомлённости населения о значимости геологического наследия региона.

Отдельной темой обсуждения на заседании Национальной комиссии Туркменистана по делам ЮНЕСКО стала работа клубов ЮНЕСКО, действующих в Туркменистане. Как известно, в Туркменском национальном институте мировых языков имени Довлетмаммета Азади, Институте международных отношений МИД Туркменистана, Туркменском сельскохозяйственном институте в Дашогузе, Государственном медицинском университете Туркменистана имени Мырата Гаррыева, Международной академии коневодства имени Аба Аннаева действуют клубы «Языки мира», «Культура мира», «Защита окружающей среды – важная концепция устойчивого развития», «Лекарственные растения – наше здоровье, наше наследие», «Ахалтекинские кони – послы мира».

5 апреля 2025 года в Международном университете гуманитарных наук и развития открыт шестой в стране клуб ЮНЕСКО, который был назван «Мир, доверие – основа гуманизма и развития».

Создание клубов ЮНЕСКО имеет большое значение, в первую очередь с позиции всестороннего формирования и развития творческой и поисковой деятельности, знаний о культурных ценностях, традициях и обычаях своей страны в молодёжной среде. Студенты, магистранты, преподаватели вузов, являясь активными членами клуба, глубоко изучают и пропагандируют гуманистические принципы и идеалы ЮНЕСКО, идеи мира и взаимопонимания между людьми. В число главных задач клубов входят межкультурная коммуникация, воспитание взаимоуважительного отношения к другим культурам, сохранение культурного, исторического наследия, охрана окружающей среды.

Следует отметить, что в связи с объявлением 2025 года «Международным годом мира и доверия» и по случаю 30-летнего юбилея постоянного нейтралитета Туркменистана обсуждены вопросы проведения ряда мероприятий.

На заседании были затронуты также такие актуальные темы, как укрепление роли нашей страны в крупных структурных подразделениях ЮНЕСКО, расширение международного научного взаимодействия, перспективы сотрудничества в цифровых проектах и обмен информацией, а также организационные и другие вопросы.

On 17 October 2025, a meeting took place at the Mejlis of Turkmenistan with Mr.Stephen Barrett, consultant Social Protection System of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and future prospects of cooperation between Turkmenistan and UNICEF in the field of social protection, particularly focusing on measures aimed at ensuring the well-being of mothers and children, and improving social policy in this area.

The guest was informed about Turkmenistan’s activities aimed at protecting the rights and legitimate interests of women and children, strengthening social protection, as well as advancing gender equality and family well-being in the country.

The representatives of the national parliament emphasized the ongoing efforts to further enhance legislative work related to the social protection of the population. They highlighted the country’s commitment to strengthening the legal framework in this field and implementing new initiatives consistent with international obligations and standards.

The parties exchanged views on the importance of continuing and expanding the established partnership.

At the end of the meeting, sides expressed confidence that the cooperation between the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and UNICEF would continue to develop successfully and effectively in the future.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the stone-laying ceremony of a complex for manufacture of mineral fertilizers of the Turkmenabat chemical plant named after S.A.Niyazov.

The chemical industry of Turkmenistan under the wise leadership of the head of the state, who worthily continues great undertakings of Hero-Arkadag, promptly develops and acts as an important part of the strategy of diversification of national economy. Enormous natural resources of the country enable to provide the sector with raw materials. Turkmenistan, which is not limited only to export of raw materials and aspires to its deep processing, forms the hi-tech and competitive chemical industry.

Our country, which occupies one of the lead positions in the world for reserves of natural gas, consistently realises the policy aimed at effective utilisation of these riches. The gas chemical industry, which manufactures a highly demanding production from natural gas in the world markets, takes one of the basic places in this strategy.

Turkmenistan also strengthens its positions in the international markets as a large manufacturer of mineral fertilizers. The modern factories equipped with the advanced technologies in Mary, Tejen and Garabogaz make high quality ammonia and urea. Apart from full satisfaction of the demand of agriculture of Turkmenistan, possibilities for export of this production abroad were created and it serves a strategic contribution made not only in maintenance of food abundance of our country, but also our partners.

One of the most famous enterprises of the national gas chemical industries in the world is the gas chemistry complex in Kiyanly, which manufactures a wide spectrum of production, including pipes, polyethylene and polypropylene, used in light industry, motor industry and in many other branches. Release of this production, the high quality of which was confirmed by international certificates, promotes development of the national processing industry and increase of its competitiveness.

The factory for manufacture of non-polluting gasoline from natural gas in Akhal acts among the advanced innovative projects in the world. It shows that our country is not limited only to diversification of diversification, but aspires to introduce non-polluting, high technologies.

Turkmenistan takes one of the leading places in the world for reserves of iodide-bromine water industrial waters. Factories "Hazar", «Balkanabat» and «Bereket» are the large enterprises for manufacture of technical iodine. Creation of additional capacities within the new investment projects is urged to become a contribution to the further increase of export potential of the country in this sphere.

Besides it, the Garlyk mining complex of potash fertilizers successfully functions in Lebap velayat. Construction of an additional new complex at the Turkmenabat chemical plant will allow providing agriculture completely with all kinds of mineral fertilizers.

Development of the chemical industry is inseparably linked with the investment policy realised in the country. Cooperation with such leading companies of the world as «Daewoo» (Republic of Korea), «Mitsubishi» (Japan), promotes introduction of hi-tech and non-polluting productions.

Presence of hi-tech manufactures demands the maintenance of the corresponding personnel. The Turkmenabat vocational school of "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern as well as higher educational institutions of the country ensure training of specialists capable to operate modern industrial facilities.

… The presidential airliner, having taken off from the capital, in some time landed in the international airport of Turkmenabat city. The Chairwoman of the Mejlis, deputy-chairman of the Cabinet, khyakim of Lebap velayat welcomed the head of the state warmly.

There was organized the song and music performances of workers of culture and art.

Then, the President of Turkmenistan arrived in the venue of the ceremony where on the occasion of the present celebration, song and music performances were held. Further, the head of the state headed towards to the specially equipped conference hall and made a welcoming speech.

Having warmly congratulated participants of the stone-laying ceremony of the complex for manufacture of mineral fertilizers at the Turkmenabat chemical plant named after  S.A.Niyazov in Lebap velayat with the significant event, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that the chemical industry acts among key sectors of our economy.

As was underlined, for development of the sector, a large-scale work is carried out in the country: huge volumes of investments are made, large-scale projects are realised, and modern technologies are introduced into manufacture.

At present, a number of large enterprises of the chemical industry effectively function. At these powerful enterprises the high-quality production, volumes of which consistently grow, is made at the expense of use of local raw materials.

large-scale projects implemented in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state and new industrial facilities commissioned into operation, are aimed at strengthening economy, maintenance of peace and happy life of our people, the head of Turkmenistan continued his speech and underlined that in implementation of these projects a special significance is attached to observance of ecological requirements, introduction of high technologies.

Large industrial projects carried out together with our partners receive a positive assessment of their full conformity to high quality, innovative solutions and ecological requirements from authoritative international organisations, President Serdar Berdymuhamedov has told.

As was marked, the project of the new complex for manufacture mineral fertilizers at the Turkmenabat chemical plant named after S.A.Niyazov of "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern will be realised by Daewoo Company of the Republic of Korea.

In construction of the given complex, the foundation of which is laid today, innovative technologies and latest equipment, which will allow observing ecology requirements, will be applied.

The new complex is called to ensure reliable supply of agricultural manufacturers and internal consumers of the country with high-quality phosphate fertilizer and create a possibility to strengthen food safety of our independent state and manufacture of phosphoric fertilizers imported from abroad.

The new industrial facility will annually produce 350 thousand tons of superphosphate and 100 thousand tons of sulphate of ammonium. After commissioning the complex, the potential of the chemical industry of the country will considerably increase.

With the commissioning of the modern chemical enterprise into operation, additional workplaces will be created there. The training of most of specialists, who will be employed there, is planned to conduct in higher educational institutions of foreign countries, for their work, all necessary conditions will be created.

The fruitful work is carried out to develop new manufactures of the national chemical industry.

In particular, in Turkmenbashi etrap of Balkan velayat it is planned to construct a complex for manufacture of urea, in Akhal - the second turn of the factory for manufacture of gasoline from gas and in the territory of Mary etrap of Mary velayat - a factory of mineral fertilizers, the President of Turkmenistan continued his speech and noted that realisation of similar large-scale projects in the country speak of the huge attention given to development of chemical industry.

As the head of the state underlined, along with other regions, a great significance is given to social and economic development of Lebap velayat where powerful industrial enterprises, social and cultural projects are consistently erected and put in operation.

At present, construction of the Mary-Turkmenabat section of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat high-speed highway is at its final stage. In Turkmenabat city erection of a new complex of buildings of the Turkmen state teachers’ training institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi proceeds, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said and pointed out that in the long term the program activity for complex development of regions of the country, creation of modern new manufactures will be successful carried out.

Once again, having warmly congratulated participants of the stone-laying ceremony of the complex for manufacture of mineral fertilizers at the Turkmenabat chemical plant named after S.A.Niyazov in Lebap velayat in the International year of peace and trust, the head of the state wished all sound health, family well-being and great successes in their work.

The speech of the President of Turkmenistan was welcomed with a storm of applause.

Then, on the screen, the video film of the complex for manufacture of superphosphate and ammonium sulphate was shown.

Further, the floor was given to head of Daewoo Engineering and Construction Co. Ltd company of the Republic of Korea  Jung Won-ju.

First of all, the businessman expressed sincere gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people for the rendered trust in his company to realise the given significant project. As was marked, the present ceremony is not only a stone-laying ceremony of the factory, but also another important step on the path of maintenance of peaceful and sustainable development of Turkmenistan.

Construction of the complex of mineral fertilizers is an important national project, called to become a significant contribution to development of the gas chemistry industry and agriculture of Turkmenistan. Besides it, implementation of the given project will allow to create new workplaces and promote development of economy of the region.

At the end of his speech, the businessperson expressed warm gratitude to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people for the rendered high trust and wished participants of the celebration and the entire Turkmen nation peace and prosperity.

Then, the head of the state at the request of representatives of the growing generation made a memorable record, which was placed into a special capsule, on the occasion of the stone-laying ceremony of the new industrial facility.

To a storm of applause of the gathered, the capsule with a memorable message was put into the foundation of the new complex.

The President of Turkmenistan threw the first shovels of concrete mix into the foundation of the future new industrial project and following the established noble tradition of our people, gave his blessing to this grandiose undertaking.

Participants of the celebration followed the example of the head of the state and put shovels of concrete mix into the foundation of the project.

Then, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, children were given gifts.

At the request of children, the head of the state had his photography taken with them for memory.

On completion of the celebration, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov warmly said goodbye to participants of the ceremony and left the place.

Thus, the present action displayed that the national chemical industry according to time realities successfully develops by means of innovations and strategic planning. The sector, which applies rich natural resources of the country as a basis for sustainable economic and technological development, brings a due contribution in consecutive strengthening positions of our fatherland as an industrially powerful state.

On October 13-14, 2025, representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan took part in the regional Parliamentary Dialogue held in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of the European Union’s “SWITCH Asia” Programme on the development of a circular economy in the region.

The aim of the meeting was to promote the development of a circular economy in the region, to exchange experience in improving legislation in this field, and to expand opportunities for cooperation.

During the event, representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan highlighted the progressive environmental policy pursued in our country, emphasizing efforts aimed at environmental protection and the effective implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals.

The Dialog also was addressed issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and the main causes of environmental pollution, as well as the emerging challenges of sustainable development in Central Asia, including water scarcity, desertification, and combating climate change.

During the regional Dialog, participants discussed the current practices of countries implementing circular economy polices that align with local conditions, and exchanged views and experiences on this topic in bilateral meetings.
